Hyper Qbank
A free and modern study platform to prepare for medical licensing examination MCCQE1 and USMLE

Initial Sparkle
As I was preparing to sit for the MCCQE1 examination, I found myself constantly jumping between resources, webpages, books, blogs and seeking organized resources to refresh my knowledge. Why not build it myself and open it to all my colleagues!

Developing Structure
As I kept studying, I found numerous functionalities needed for a comprehensive study platform, each of which gave birth to a new branch of the Hyper family of projects.

Developing Questions
Compiling cases that resemble official exam gathering old questions from medical school exams, proved to be a long but effective problem-based learning strategy. This will be an ongoing process as the platform matures and bug is design and content are found. Ca
HyperQbank aims to provide a distraction-free all in one virtual study platform dedicated to medical students, residents with a sensible and searchable default of medical topics, exam-style questions, guidelines, clinical images and ... to assisst students in preparation for USMLE and MCCQE
Hyper Rx
A Clinical Application Programming Interface for retrieving prescription medication information
In development

Start Date
Having access to an updated database of medication information is an inseprable part of studying and practice. While there are various existing databases, finding a high-quality and free Canadain database of drugs for medical students was no easy task.

Reviewing Current Technologies
From the pool of existing technologies, the most promimnet was medscape drugs inspiring this project the most. Other noticeable web applications include drugs.com, drugbank.com and dailymed.com.

Retrieving & Cleaning Entries from Health Canada Drug Product Database
Although Health Canada offers a publicly accessible API to interact wit the DPD database, the structure and design may not be palatable for clinical use. I sought to construct a custom database first by cleaning and reformimg the data in python.
HyperRx is a cloud-run programm that periocically fetches and cleans drug information from the canadaian drug database artifacts, filters out OTC and veterianary products and summerizes uptodate monograph information in a searchable database.
Academic Research
Trauma Epidemiology & Injury Surveillance
Exploring injury patterns across age and gender groups in Iran's largest trauma centers. My research has centered on leveraging administrative databases to understand injury mechanisms, mortality predictors, and trauma outcomes, providing actionable insights for prevention and healthcare optimization.
- Analyzed over 47,000 trauma cases to identify demographic and clinical predictors of mortality.
- Quantified the timing and patterns of trauma-related in-hospital deaths, revealing a shift from trimodal to bimodal distribution.
- Highlighted high-risk groups such as elderly males with thoracic or head injuries.
- Proposed data-driven improvements in trauma surveillance systems and care strategies.
Risk Modeling & Outcome Prediction
Designing data-driven models to improve trauma care and neonatal infection outcomes. Through statistical modeling and regression analysis, I contributed to identifying high-risk patients in both trauma and neonatal intensive care units.
- Developed logistic regression models to predict early and late trauma mortality.
- Identified age, ISS >16, thoracic injuries, and nosocomial infections as major outcome predictors.
- Supported risk quantification models for catheter-related bloodstream infections in NICUs.
- Recommended data-centric strategies to reduce in-hospital complications and mortality.
Community & Preventive Medicine Research
Integrating fieldwork and analytics to tackle community health challenges. As part of university-affiliated and government-supported projects, I collaborated on studies addressing behavioral risk factors and health service quality.
- Led electronic data collection and analysis for a community survey on hookah smoking and cessation strategies.
- Co-authored a study evaluating the impact of ISO certification on patient satisfaction across teaching hospitals.
- Applied structured patient feedback tools (KQCAH) to measure healthcare quality in resource-limited settings.
Orthopedics, Musculoskeletal & Rehabilitation Research
Supporting observational studies in musculoskeletal and orthopedic epidemiology. At Shiraz Bone & Joint Research Center, I contributed to the formulation, analysis, and reporting of clinical studies aimed at improving orthopedic patient care.
- Compared core muscle endurance in sedentary vs. active hospital staff.
- Assessed treatment outcomes in patients with congenital hip dislocation.
- Investigated anatomical and radiographic factors in tibiofibular syndesmosis alignment.
- Strengthened methodological rigor in designing and interpreting clinical orthopedic research.
